On the many roads I have traveled, for either professional or personal reasons, I have met tourists and travelers alike. I find that tourists are content sightseeing and collecting souvenirs; travelers, on the other side, want to pursue a passion, embark on an adventure or learn something new. Born in the gaucho country of Southern Brazil and a New Yorker for almost 30 years, Beatriz Guimarães Ball graduated from Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, in her hometown Porto Alegre, with a degree in Journalism. She also has degrees from University of Perugia, in Italy, and from New York University.
As a foreign correspondent for international radio stations such as Radio France International and United Nations Radio, Bea has lived and worked in major cities on three continents - São Paulo, London and New York - and is fluent in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and Italian.
Considered a world-class traveler with an eye for the finest details, for the last ten years Bea has been leading small groups to some of her favorite destinations in Europe and South America, where guests of Golden Bee Tours benefit from her extensive network of friends and qualified local experts.
