Jewels of the French Riviera is a tour of the Mediterranean coast of France known as Côte d’Azur. This group will be based in Nice, a major city on the Mediterranean Sea buzzing with energy, cultural life, fine restaurants and bars, a quaint old port and a picturesque historic quarter.
Nice is served by an international airport and by direct flights from most major cities in the world; from some others a connection in Paris or other hubs is necessary.
Guests are responsible for the cost of/reservations for flights to and from Nice.

This group will stay 9 days (8 nights) in a 4-star deluxe hotel with private beach in Nice; from there we will leave daily in a private minibus to explore the surrounding towns and main attractions, from St. Tropez to Monaco.
The tour starts October 12th, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Nice International Airport, with welcome greetings from tour directors, followed by transfer to the hotel; tour ends in the early morning of October 20th with group farewell at the airport for departure flights.
Tour members arriving in Nice at different times - or by other means of transportation (train, boat, car, etc) - are responsible for getting to the hotel (directions will be provided); likewise, guests leaving the hotel at different hours on tour final day are responsible for their transportation.

This group will be served by private minivan/driver during the program. The driver will leave guests as close as possible to the places we visit, but they should be physically able to walk short distances when necessary.

Group size varies from 8 to 12 adults aged 21 and older; a minimum of 8 people is required for tour viability. The group will be escorted by 2 multi-language tour directors during the duration of the tour; directors stay in the same hotel and accompany the group during the activities in the program.
There is a limit of 2 suitcases per person; extra volumes will be charged $50 per piece.

Payment schedule
To book this tour, please send GBT a deposit of $1,000 by June 14, 2017.
Of this amount, $500 is a service fee and non-refundable, in case the client cancels the tour at any time. However, full deposit will be refunded if GBT cancels the tour or if a client in the waiting list doesn’t get a space in the group (see below).

The full balance of your booked tour must be received by July 14, 2017, or 90 days prior to tour date (October 12, 2017); on July 14 the full $1,000 deposit becomes nonrefundable if the client cancels the booking.
Registration is limited to twelve (12) people, chosen on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of the $1,000 deposit. The first twelve people to pay the deposit will have priority to join the tour until 90 days prior to tour date, when payment in full must be received. If a client pays the deposit after 12 people have registered, but before they have paid the full balance, client may choose to be on a waiting list in the order the deposit was received; should one of the original 12 people cancel, or fail to make full payment 90 days prior to tour date, client on the waiting list will be notified that a space has become available and will be required to pay full balance within 48 hours. If no space becomes available - or if client decides not to join the group for any reason - client will be refunded the full amount of his deposit.
Tour members are asked to accept the our Terms & Conditions and Risk Release before booking the tour.

Cancellations/refunds/transfers
If the client cancels a booking:
Cancellation by client by July 14, 2017, or 90 days prior tour date: client receives $500 of the deposit (deposit minus a $500 service fee) plus the full amount if other payments were made.
Cancellation by client between July 14 and September 2nd (between 90 and 40 days of tour date): the $1,000 deposit becomes fully non-refundable, but full refund of other payments made.
After September 2nd - we regret but cannot offer any refunds (please see Trip Cancellation Insurance below).
No refunds will be made to those who fail to join a tour without due cancellation, for accommodations or services not used, or for a partially completed tour.
All cancellations by clients must be notified by email to GBT.

If Golden Bee Tours LLC cancels a tour:
We may be forced to cancel a tour if circumstances beyond our control - weather conditions, strikes, war, political turmoil, terrorism or civil unrest - may deem travel unsafe at the tour's destination. In such cases - or if a minimum number of 8 people required for the tour to be valid is not reached by September 2nd - client will receive full refund of all payments made, including the deposit.

Trip cancellation insurance
We recommend that you purchase a trip insurance package with benefits designed to protect you and your investment, in the event you have to cancel the tour for any reason. These policies also cover trip interruption/emergency medical or dental care, emergency medical evacuation, baggage coverage, travel delay and travel accidents on all types of tours, whatever their duration, and are available through your airline or travel agency. Insurance costs are based on your age and on the price, duration and destination of your trip.

Diet restrictions
Due to the nature of this tour, and the fact that it includes meals in French restaurants, we are not able to accommodate restricted diets or the specific needs of people with food allergies; vegetarian (but not vegan) meals are usually available.

Smoking policy
To ensure the safety and comfort of all tour members, smoking is not permitted during group activities or in the places we visit.
